Description
The Group sells branded, guaranteed, quality parts as competitive prices to its nationwide preferred customer base. Three strategic regional business units facilitate adherence to excellent service standards throughout the country and ensure a close understanding of customer needs, namely: Central Regoin, based in Meadowdale, Johannesburg, which serves Gauteng, the Free State, the Northern regions, and exports into Africa and Namibie Cape Region, based in Port Elizabeth, which serves the Cape and KwaZulu-Natal Region based in Durban, which serves KwaZulu Natal.
Distribution is co-ordinated by Parts Incorporated Africa through a hub and spoke infrastructure, complemented by NAPA - the marketing co-operative organisation for leading local brands. This powerful and unique combination has proven over the years to be a most efficient route to the franchise consumer base. Four national franchise chains, under the banners of Midas Parts Centres, Motolek, Adco and CBS provide a network of some 320 retail outlets, workshops and fitment centres.
Unequalled in Southern Africa, this network enables the Midas Group to satisfy the key needs of the vehicle parc throughout the region. The Group also provides the commercial vehicle sector with a national network of value-added technical centres of excellence for the undercarriage of vehicles primarily through its Adco, Motolek and CBS franchises.
